The much-awaited ‘Karzzzz’ is finally out for the
viewers’ entertainment. But the question is that does it
entertain the audiences? For the answer, let’s review it.
Himesh Reshammiya’s hatless look and the film ‘Karzzzz’ has
undoubtedly been putting him in the news from the outset.
Monty is back…yes, Rishi Kapoor is back but this time Monty
is Himesh. The showman Subhash Ghai’s Karz is now ‘Karzzzz’,
which is the production of T-Series and the direction of
Satish Kaushik. Himesh’s popularity is being encashed these
days by the Bollywood fraternity. And this was the obvious
reason of taking him in this film in the lead role. The
crowd is crazy for this man’s music and voice. The nasal
effects of his vocals attract the music buffs. And this has
made him famous and the idol of everybody. His acting debut
in ‘Aap Ka Suroor’ went well. Now let’s check whether he
does big in this flick or not… |

Monty (Himesh Reshammiya) is a rockstarm who falls
in love with Tina (Shweta Kumar) in South Africa,
while she’s on an assignment from her catering
college in Kenya. Monty has visions of his past life
and a certain place that he has never visited in
life. He also sees gorgeous sexy lass Kamini (Urmila
Mantondkar) in dreams. The re-birth story starts in
Kenya when he goes there after being advised to take
a month’s vacation. He spots the palace that he sees

dreams and later bumps into Kamini, who has now
turned princess. Monty then comes to terms with his past
life. Monty is actually Ravi Verma (Dino Morea) from his
pervious life. Ravi was deceived, betrayed and murdered by
Kamini.
‘Karzzzz’ is about the reincarnation and revenge, which we
used to watch it in plenty in the eras of 70s and 80s. In
today’s time, where time has changed and sophistication has
emerged. We are modern. Nonethless we are offered to watch
these ilk of films (though rarely…). The prime example is
Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Om Shanti Om’. That appeared as a mega
hit. ‘Karzzzz’ too follows the same formula and is expected
to be a blockbuster.
Watch Karzzzz putting your thinking caps aside and don’t
think that this is today’s modern time where you can never
imagine about re-birth. Just watch it as the re-make of
showman Ghai’s ‘Karz’ and you will enjoy every bit of it. |

The script is well-penned. The direction by Satish
Kaushik is marvelous. He tells the story on screen
brilliantly. The music by Himesh Reshammiya is
melodious and has already won the hearts of the
music lovers.
Amongst the actors, Himesh Reshammiya stands big in
the role of Monty. He proves that he is not only a
fine musician, singer but also a superb actor

every produced so far. Urmila Mantondkar appears as
a classy actress. The sexy lady enacts the role of Kamini
with aplomb. Shweta Kumar (the daughter of Indra Kumar) is
good. She can see her future in Bollywood. Danny is wasted
in the character of filmholic uncle. Gulshan Grover is
great. The rest do well also.
On the whole, ‘Karzzzz’ is a pure entertaining stuff to
watch. |
