Hastey Hastey – Follow Your Heart is a horrendous flick with no scope of sympathy towards the shabby show of a poor script put together with beauty dolls.

The film is so weak in the entirety that one cannot but express grief over the uncapped potential of talents like Jimmy Shergill, Rajpal Yadav, Javed Sheikh and Manoj Joshi in the film.

The story of Hastey Hastey is about a young, talented student Neel (Jimmy Shergill). Neel studies at Columbia University, and is in love with Maya (Nisha Rawal).

Sunny Malhotra (Ralpal Yadav) is Neel’s roommate and is responsible for all the mishappenings in the college. Moreover, Sunny is in love with a American beauty Tina (Sarah Thomas).

After performing brilliantly in academics, Neel gets an opportunity to set up a call centre in India. He grabs it against the wishes of Maya.

In India, Neel and his team are warmly invited by the likes of a young executive Tanvi (Monishka). Tanvi shows proactiveness in her work and helps Neel in all the possible ways.

Soon, Tanvi is attracted to Neel and conveys her feelings to her. Neel, like our most Hindi film heroes, rejects her proposal as he is a one-woman man.

Tanvi feels rejected and traps Neel in a ferocious mesh which hampers his professional as well as personal life completely. The rest of the story narrates the manner in which Neel frees himself from the wrath of the dejected lady.

The initial look of the film is very classy with good display of outdoor locations in the United States of America. However, the script and the screenplay is completely blasted as the final outcome is a dull show.

Music wise, Anu Malik has done a decent job in rendering a few melodies that help to soften the angry mood of the viewers.

The director has done a terrible job in conveying the tale through the nonsensical frames. The film can be divided into two corny halves. One when the jokes are around and second when one of the hot bods Nisha Rawal and Monishka are around.

The scenes look forced and the chemistry of the lead pair looks forced upon. The unconventional look of Jimmy Shergill should be rest to peace with the number of flops that the actor has delivered for some time now.

Nisha Rawal and Monishka show zero potential of acting but are perfect while displaying their sharp figures till the ultimate limit. Javed Sheikh is given a weak role. Manoj Joshi looks heartless in the piece of cake given to him.

Overall, Hastey Hastey will find nullified attendance in the theatres and the film will be off the charts before anyone comes to know about it. Bitter Luck this time!
